Together for the future of solar

Solliance Solar Research brengt toonaangevende Europese onderzoeksinstituten samen in een gezamenlijke inspanning om innovaties op het gebied van fotovoltaïsche zonne-energie te bevorderen. De missie is het stimuleren van de ontwikkeling, uitbreiding en versterking van economische activiteiten die verband houden met geavanceerde fotovoltaïsche (PV) technologieën.

Daarom richt Solliance zich op de valorisatie van PV-innovaties. Om dit te bereiken, werkt Solliance nauw samen met industriële belanghebbenden en overheidsinstanties, met speciale aandacht voor de grensregio’s langs de as Eindhoven (Nederland) – Hasselt (België).

Het onderzoeksgebied van Solliance omvat perovskiet-gebaseerde dunne-film zonneceltechnologie, tandem zonneceltechnologie en massamaatwerkproductietechnologie voor geïntegreerde zonne-energieoplossingen.

Opgericht in 2010 met financiering en ondersteuning van de Provincie Noord-Brabant, heeft Solliance Solar Research een sterke basis en een lange geschiedenis van samenwerking. De huidige partners zijn imec, Universiteit Hasselt, Technische Universiteit Eindhoven en TNO.
