24 May, 2023Solliance Solar Research brings together leading European research institutes in a dedicated effort to advance photovoltaic solar energy innovations. Its mission is to foster the development, expansion, and reinforcement of economic activities related to advanced photovoltaic (PV) technologies.
As such, Solliance is dedicated to valorisation of PV innovations. To achieve this, Solliance collaborates closely with industrial stakeholders and governmental bodies, with a particular focus on the cross-border regions along the Eindhoven (Netherlands) – Hasselt (Belgium) axis.
The scope of the Solliance research includes perovskite-based thin-film solar technology, tandem solar technology, and mass customization production technology for integrated solar applications.
Established in 2010 with funding and support from the Province of Noord-Brabant, Solliance Solar Research has a strong foundation and a long-standing history of collaboration. Its current partners are imec, Hasselt University, Eindhoven University of Technology, and TNO.
